Evelyn DeBuck, 92, Montpelier, North Dakota died Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown. Evelyn Paulson was born December 25, 1911 in Adrian, North Dakota the daughter of Herman and Kate (Kruse) Paulson. On December 21, 1930 she married Camiel DeBuck in Jamestown. They farmed in the Adrian and Montpelier area until retiring in 1961. They moved into Montpelier and Evelyn began working at the North Dakota State Hospital and worked there until her retirement in 1976. After retiring Evelyn and Camiel became snow birds and spent their winters in Yuma, Arizona. Camiel passed away in 1984. Evelyn moved back to Montpelier and lived there until she moved to Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, 5 months ago.
Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, watching the LA Lakers, Anaheim Angels, car racing and doing crosswood puzzles.
She was a member of the Montpelier OK Club, Montpelier Lutheran Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Evelyn is survived by three daughters; Marlis (Bill Richman) Headland, Tower City, ND, Gloria (Kenis) Schultz, Westminster, CA and Evonne (Rodney) Tramel, Orange, CA; one son, Harvey (Patti) DeBuck, Montpelier, ND; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, one daughter, Marjorie and one infant son, Larry Dean.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Montpelier Lutheran Church, Montpelier, ND with Rev. Norman Winkelman officiating.
Visitation: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
