Evelyn Hennings

Evelyn Hennings, 96, Carrington, ND died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Eventide Jamestown.
Evelyn Violet Aldrich was born June 1, 1920 at Claire City, SD. She was the daughter of Claude and Anna (Volmers) Aldrich who moved to the Carrington area in 1921. Evelyn was united in marriage to Forrest Dale Hennings on March 13, 1942 in Carrington. They were lifelong residents of Carrington. Forrest died in 1997. She worked at Carrington Hospital, Coast to Coast, Montgomery Ward and Carrington Inn and Suites. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Larry and Tom, both of Carrington; two daughters, Kathleen Wolff and Lory Sund; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Laughlin and Arliss Willyard. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents, four sisters and three brothers.

Memorial Service: 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 26 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrington, ND.
