Flora Treitline

Flora Treitline, 95, of Dickinson, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. Benedict's Health Center, Dickinson, ND.

Flora Williams was born June 15, 1913, in Bremer township, near Wimbledon, ND, the daughter of Dan and Lillian (Haskins) Williams. She graduated from Oxbridge school, near Wimbledon, and attended college in Valley City. Flora married Willard R. Treitline on September 10, 1938. They lived on a farm south of Wimbledon and farmed in Bremer and Oxbridge townships. She was a cook at Wimbledon Public School until her retirement in 1969. Flora was an avid fan of Wimbledon sports activities.

Flora was a member of the Oxbridge Homemakers, St. John's Methodist Church, Wimbledon, and active with the Senior Citizens Center in Wimbledon.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and needlework.

Flora is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Jerry) Larson, Dickinson, ND; two sons, Walter (Karen) Treitline, Page, ND and Robert (Sheryl) Treitline, Dickinson, ND; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Vicki Treitline, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Willard W.; and two brothers, Alfred and Lowell Williams.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at St. John's Methodist Church, Wimbledon, ND, with Pastor Jeff Levy officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM-8:00PM, Monday, September 29, 2008 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
