Florence Otto, 85, Jamestown, North Dakota died Friday, November 3, 2006 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Florence Lillian Siebert was born December 14, 1920 in Durham Township, Courtenay, North Dakota, the daughter of George and Martha (Braasch) Siebert. She attended school in Goldwin Township and Jamestown High School. On July 23, 1942, Florence married Clifford Otto and they farmed in the Pettibone, North Dakota area. They later moved to Jamestown where Florence worked at the Lutheran Home for the Aged. She also worked at Newman Signs for about eight years before her retirement.

Florence enjoyed reading Louis L'Moure books, crocheting and she loved making quilts. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the VFW Women's Auxillary both in Jamestown.

Florence is survived by two sons: Terry (Anna Cassilly) Otto, Pittsboro, NC and Clifford Otto, Jr., Misawa, Japan; two daughters: Sandra Klose, Kindred, ND and Sharon (Larry) Gutzwiller, Jamestown; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one daughter in-law, Connie Otto, Jamestown; two sisters, Mert (Phil) Hostetler, Kennewick, WA and Eileen Aipperspach, Jamestown and one brother, George Siebert, Quincy, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Eugene, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home Chapel in Jamestown with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
