Frances A. Hoover, 71, Portland, Oregon, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota, died December 28, 2008 at her home.
Frances Sukut was born June 12, 1937 in Lehr, North Dakota, the daughter of Gottlob and Hulda (Radke) Sukut. She attended schools in Logan and Stutsman County rural schools. She attended beauty school in Minneapolis, MN and worked as a beautician in Minneapolis and Denver. Frances moved to Florida for a short time before moving to Oregon in 1979, where her home has been since.
Frances enjoyed reading and visiting with friends and family.
Frances is survived by six sisters, Gladys Ley and Geraldine Guthmiller, both of Jamestown, Lillian Sukut, Minneapolis, MN, Marlys Sukut, Denver, CO, Sharon Grant, Cohasset, MN, Bonnie (Walter) Smith, Richardson, TX; three brothers, Howard (Arlene) Sukut, Jamestown, Earl Sukut, Cascade, MT and Garry Sukut, Mesa, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Allen and Leroy.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown with Rev. Gary Ball-Kilbourne and Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
No visitation.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
