Frances Jaskier

Frances Jaskier, 84, Valley City, North Dakota died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at the Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City. Frances Zuber was born February, 6, 1919 in Vashti, near Woodworth, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Wojcek) Zuber. She attended rural schools near there. Frances lived in Chicago working for Western Electric. She returned to North Dakota in 1948 and worked for a seed company in Bismarck. She married Stanley Jaskier September 24, 1956 in Jamestown. He died June 5, 1977. She lived at the Gackle Care Center, Gackle, ND and then at Bethel Four Acres in Jamestown. Later, she was a resident of the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND.

Frances is survived by a brother, Antone Zuber of Maryland, a sister, Sophia Marchi of Chicago, IL and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Zuber, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, John, Walter, and Frank Zuber and two sisters, Mildred Gallagher and Marie Ranos.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, May 16, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown with Father Steven Reiske officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
