Francis Bradley, 81, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.
Francis Cleo Bradley was born June 20, 1928 in Monango, ND, the son of Brown E. and Rose Kathern (Fox) Bradley. On December 24, 1950, he married Marjorie Rempfer in Ellendale, ND and they settled in LaMoure, ND. Francis served in the U. S. Army from January, 1951 until he was discharged and returned to Ellendale in 1953. In 1961, they moved to Jamestown, ND where Francis worked for the city of Jamestown, CH Carpenter Lumber, the North Dakota State Hospital, drove a taxi cab and worked for the Jamestown Sun. Marjorie died on October 26, 1983. On February 14, 1985, he married Angel Birkholz at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND. Angel died on December 27, 1989.
Francis enjoyed playing cribbage and other card games, gardening, knitting, baking canning and spending time with his family.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Kollman, Jamestown, ND; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law, Lyle Rempfer, Jamestown, ND and Roland (Carolin) Rempfer, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; 2 sons: Don and Ken; a grandson-in-law, Andrew T. Elhard and a sister-in-law, Viola Rempfer
