Frank Schlosser, 83, Edgeley, ND, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.
Frank Raymond Schlosser was born October 10, 1924 on the family farm near Kintyre, ND, the son of Frank and Magdalena (Feist) Schlosser. He was raised on the farm and began school in Kintyre. He continued his schooling at the Glenmore Township School after moving to Edgeley, ND with his family. After his schooling he worked on the family farm and for other farmers in the area. On June 4, 1948, he married Wilma Biegler at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN and they settled in Edgeley, ND. In 1957, they purchase a farm in Edgeley, ND where Frank farmed until 2005.
Frank was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include 4 children: Richard (Mary) Schlosser, Edgeley, ND; Shirley (Richard) Westlind, Puyallup, WA; Dan (Gayle) Edgeley, ND; Mary Jo (Marty) Mazick, Kathleen, GA; 18 grandchildren: Jenyfer (Glen) Fischer; Jessica (Nathan) Moore; JoAnna Westlind; Jolaine Westlind; Kristi (Ryan) Carlson; Jackie (Nic) Beneda; Michael (Erica) Schlosser; Ryan (Lisa) Schlosser; Cindy Schlosser; Emily Schlosser; Lance Schlosser; Isaac (Nicole) Schlosser; Briana Schlosser; Miriam Schlosser; Justin Jensen; Melissa Fandrich; Marty Mazick; Matthew Mazick; 9 great-grandchildren: Frankie Westlind; Rylee Fischer; Luke Moore; Lane Moore; Quinn Carlson; William Richard Carlson; John Beneda; Abby Beneda; Katie Schlosser; 4 brothers: Casimer Schlosser, Edgeley, ND; Balzer Schlosser, Edgeley, ND; Joe Schlosser, Edgeley, ND; Valentine (Lorraine) Schlosser, Tulsa, OK; 3 sisters: Mary (Tony) Wald, Bismarck, ND; Maggie Wald, Edgeley, ND and Helen Magrum, Reno, NV.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 5 brothers: Raymond, Pete, Sebastian, Al, Leo and 6 sisters: Rose, Catherine, Dorothy, Wilhelmina, Caroline and Agatha.
