Fredric "Tom" Barnick

Fredric “Tom” Barnick, 68, of Montpelier, ND passed away surrounded by family in his home on May 20th, 2022. Tom was born to the late Fredric and Patricia Barnick in Jamestown, ND on October 30th, 1953. Tom attended and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1971. He moved around the state throughout his life, but settled back home in Montpelier, ND.

Tom worked construction, as a rancher, and a driver of various equipment. Tom enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, and quoting movies. He enjoyed making sausage and frying fish with his family. Any event with his family brought Tom joy.

Tom is survived by wife of 17 years Toni Barnick. His children: Anna Barnick, Ashli (Greg) Kottsick and grandson Landon, Fredric Adam (Jess) Barnick. Siblings: Jerome Barnick, Lynette (Arlie) Lind, Mary (Noel) Trusty, David (Lisa) Barnick, Margaret (Mark) Brockman, and Jay (Nancy) Barnick; Sister-in-law, Rose Barnick. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kevin and sister LoAnne.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND with Father Miller, celebrant.

Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Monday May 23rd, 2022 at Eddy’s Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
