Gail Bischoff

Gail A. Bischoff, 88, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday morning, April 4, 2024 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Gail was born April 23, 1935, the daughter of Adeline (Swenson) and Palmer Melby.  She grew up in the Hatton and Fargo areas.  Gail graduated from Oak Grove High School and attended Interstate Business College at the University of Toledo, Ohio.  In 1959, she and Gordon Bischoff were married and they lived and farmed at rural Courtenay, ND.  They moved to Jamestown in 1996 where their home has been since.

Gail is survived by her husband, Gordon Bischoff; son, David; grandson, Dillon; sisters, Deon (James) Gebhardt, Cathy (David) Busch; sister-in-law, Cheryl Anderson; brother-in-law, John Larsen; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Art Anderson; sister, Joan Martin Larsen; brother, Buz Anderson; brother-in-law, Ray Anderson; and brother & sister-in-law, Roger and Marlene Bischoff.

A private burial will take place at Courtenay Cemetery, Courtenay, ND.
