Gary Mitzel, 67, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Jamestown Hopsital, Jamestown, ND.
Gary J. Mitzel was born August 13, 1939 at Linton, ND, the son of Joe and Winnifred Mitzel. He was raised and attended school in Linton, ND. After his schooling he lived in Minneapolis; MN, Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Miles City, MT; and Valley City, ND. In 1993, Gary moved to Jamestown, ND where he resided at the Posthouse. Gary enjoyed country music and watching sports on television.
Survivors include 2 sisters: Noreen Sandwick, Cloquet, MN; LaRae Dosch, Wichita, KA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Joyce McKay and Joann Silvernagel.
Funeral Service - 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Reverend Randy Jaspers officiating.
Visitation - 1 hour prior to services at Lisko Funeral Chapel on Sunday.
Interment - 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Linton City Cemetery, Linton, ND.
