Gene S. Radermacher

Gene Sylvester Radermacher was born Auguest 26, 1945 to Sylvester and Marie (Broeman) Radermacher at Melrose MN. He grew up and went to school there until 1957 when the family moved to Monango ND and started a dairy farm. After graduating high school in Monango in1965, he worked on the family farm, He joined the North Dakota National Guard and served for 6 years.

On September 28, 1968 he married Brenda Gohman from Berlin ND. In 1972 they started a dairy operation farming near Monango. The couple had three children Jeff born 1969, Wade in 1971, Sandra 1977. Gene was a long time member of Transfiguration Catholic Church. He served as a director of the Maple Valley Farmers Coop and was a member of the Valley Township Board for over 30 years.

Gene enjoyed family, friends and loved spending time with grandkids, fishing and farming.. They also spend many happy winters in Arizona with friends and family.

Survivors include wife, Brenda, children Jeffrey (Carrie), Wade, Sandra and (Pat) Rivinius, and four grandchildren, Stephen and Rebecca Radermacher, Gabriel and Izabel Rivinius twelve surviving brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by parents Sylvester and Marie (Broeman) Radermacher, sister Kristi Radermacher, infant brother Patrick Radermacher, and infant niece Wendy Radermacher.

He is loved and sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Prayer Service: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
