Geneva Rick

Geneva Rick, 76, of Jamestown, ND died Saturday, November 27, 2004 peacefully at her home in Jamestown.

Geneva was born December 7, 1927 at Valley City, ND, the daughter of Earl and May (Hansen) Griffin. She moved to Jamestown with her family at an early age. Geneva attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1945. Geneva married Garfield Rick on February 3, 1946. He passed away on November 25, 1973. Geneva worked many years for White Drug in Jamestown and retired in 1993.

Geneva is survived by five daughters, Diane White, of Cottonwood CA; Nancy (Auggie) Mueller of Minot, ND; Jean (Tim) Griffin of Moorhead, MN; Julie (John) Schrade of Jamestown, ND and Judy (Dave) Seher of Jamestown, ND; three sons, Jim (Lois) Rick of Minot, ND; John (Eileen) Rick of Woodworth, ND; and Ron (Elizabeth) Rick of Jamestown, ND; twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren; two brothers, Dan Griffin, Jamestown, ND and Bill (Jonel) Griffen of Mesa Az and a special person, Debbie Genetzsky of Granville, ND.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers, Lloyd, Marvin, Kenneth, and Harold.

Geneva was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, reading, slot machines and her computer.

Memorial Service: 11:00AM, Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

No Visitation scheduled.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.

Memorials are preferred to Jamestown Hospital Hospice instead of flowers.
