Geraldine Cook, 71, Woodworth, North Dakota, passed away peacefully with her husband and children at her side on Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown.

Geraldine Rose Marston was born September 19, 1933 in Chase Lake Township, North Dakota, the daughter of James and Wanda (Pytle) Marston, Sr. She attended school at Marstonmoor, Woodworth and California, graduating from Jamestown High School. She married Robert Cook on October 3, 1952 in Woodworth. The service was a double wedding ceremony shared with her sister, Patricia, and Robert Scheidt. They lived and farmed in the Woodworth area until their retirement.

She taught school at The Sunday School in Wadsworth Township, North Dakota for one year. Geraldine was a member of the Woodworth ELCA and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and always looked forward to their visits. She gave generously of her time and talents to her friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Bob, of 52 years; four children, Candyce (Marlyn) Wick, Woodworth, Jodi Cook, Jamestown, Rodney (Gayle) Cook, Woodworth and Laurie (Daniel) Stewart, Grangeville, ID; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Patricia Scheidt, Pittsburg, CA, Delores Struxness, Highland, CA and Judy (Willis) Branning, Apple Valley, MN; one brother, James (Margie) Marston, Jr., Oak Hills, CA, brother-in-law, Ted Endres, Jamestown, sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynne Leapaldt, Carrington, ND, Frances and Walter Schulz, Jamestown, Vickie and Dennis Brown, Milton, ND and Leona Cook, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, an infant brother, Leon, one sister, Marilyn Endres and four brothers-in-law, Roger Struxness, Robert Scheidt, David Cook and Arnold Leapaldt.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Woodworth ELCA with Rev. Ellen Arthur officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Gem Cemetery, Woodworth, North Dakota.
