Geraldine Marie Kaseman

Geraldine Kaseman, 58, Woodworth, North Dakota died Friday, June 5, 2009 at her farm home.

Geraldine Marie (Weber) Kaseman, daughter of Clarence and Leona (Klein) Weber, was born April 28, 1951 in Eureka, South Dakota. She was raised on the family farm northeast of Ashley, ND. She attended country school for one year, then attended grade school and high school in Ashley, graduating in 1969. She attended one year of college at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, where she studied accounting.

Gerry worked various places including: Scotties Restaurant, Ashley Super Value, Ashley Sales Barn, Schlepp's Insurance, Ashley Senior Center and Tech Link.

In 1999 Gerry moved to Woodworth, ND to spend the rest of her life with the love of her life, Delton Hieb. They lived on a farm southeast of Woodworth.

For pleasure, Gerry enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting and embroidering. She loved the peace and quietness of living on the farm. Her greatest joys were her five children and twelve grandchildren. She loved playing with them and sharing stories as she watched them grow up.

Gerry is survived by two sons, Jason Kaseman, Gardner, ND and Jesse (Chellie) Kaseman, Ashley, ND; three daughters, LaFawn (Brent) Sarver, Fayetteville, NC, Shelly Kaseman, Seattle, WA and Jessice (Kim) Hieb, Woodworth; her mother, Leona Weber, Ashley; twelve grandchildren; four sisters, Suellen (Rodney) Meidinger, Wishek, ND, LuRae (Jimmy) Janke, Ellendale, ND, Francene (Curt) Gales, Colorado Springs, CO and Gina Iszler, Eureka, SD; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Del Hieb; father, one brother; and one granddaughter.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
