Gideon Mittleider

Gideon Mittleider, 83, of Silt, Colorado, formerly of Jamestown, ND, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2004.

Gideon was born January 1, 1921 in Streeter, North Dakota the son of John and Fredricka Mittleider. He married LaVern George on April 23, 1944.

Gideon is survived by his daughters: Gloria Settle, Linda (Ron) Breiting, Colleen, and one son Ron (Cindy) Mittleider, Silt, CO; seven grandchildren, Kara, Lon, Shaun, Jared, Autumn, Mariah and Melody and four great-grandchildren, Shanna, Sara, Seth and Clay; three brothers, John, Jr., Harold and Benjamin and one sister, Anna Bosche.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Curtis, son-in-law, Barry Settle and one brother, Bernhardt.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Jamestown Evangelical Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. Clayton Scheaffer officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
