Glenda Wentz

Glenda Kaye Wentz, 59, Jamestown, North Dakota died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her home. Glenda Wentz was born February 2, 1955 in Jamestown, North Dakota to Vernon and Adeline (Gienger) Wentz. She attended and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1973. Glenda graduated from University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She was employed as a social worker at Missouri Slope Nursing Home, Bismarck. Glenda moved to Jamestown in 2004 and worked as a social worker at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home. Through the years she has enjoyed watching all of her nieces and nephews sporting events, including most recently spending Saturdays rooting for two of her nephews that play football for the NDSU Bison. She also enjoyed crafting and was an avid reader. Glenda is survived by two sisters, Wendy (Kenneth) Halvorson, Jamestown, ND and Pam Wentz, Fargo, ND; two brothers, Bruce (Angie) Wentz, Dunnellon, FL and Doug (Laurie) Wentz, Bismarck, ND; a sister in law, Twila Wentz; thirteen nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; many extended family and friends, and her four legged best friend Zoe. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jeff and her grandparents Harold and Pauline Wentz; and Martha and Paul Gienger.

The family requests that contributions in memory of Glenda be made to Prairie Paws, Jamestown, ND.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

No Visitation.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
