Glenn Berndt

Glenn Donald Berndt, 57, Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Berndt was born March 5, 1949 in Rugby, North Dakota to Bernard and Eva (McMaster) Berndt. He attended elementary school in Towner and graduated from Jamestown High School. He entered the US Navy in May of 1968 and served until December of 1969. He returned to Jamestown where he worked for Arneson Plumbing and Heating. Glenn enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, playing pool and softball. Football and the Minnesota Vikings were also a great joy of his.

Glenn is survived by his son, James Berndt, Fargo, ND; his daughter, Amy Berndt, Dickinson, ND; his mother, Eva Berndt, Jamestown; one sister, Betty (Ron) Geigle, Jamestown; two brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Berndt, Valley City, ND and Dan Berndt, Nisland, SD and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, North Dakota.
