Gloria Kubat

Gloria M. Kubat, 93, of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, February 16, 2015, at Eventide at Hi-Acres.

Gloria was born on September 19, 1921, the daughter of George and Alvie (Berg) Morken. She married John Kubat on November 23, 1943 at Grand Forks, ND. Gloria loved polka music, dancing with her husband, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, John (Pat) Kubat and Kevin (Rita) Kubat; four grandchildren, Stacey (Chad) Omeara, Sarah Huebner, Kara Kubat, and Spencer (Lindsay) Kubat; and two great grandchildren, Coty Huebner and Paxton Kubat.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John on October 16, 1990; an infant son, Gregory; three brothers; and one sister.

Memorial Service : 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Rev. Michelle Brennan officiating.

Visitation: None scheduled. Arrangements are in the care of Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Interment: Kosabud Cemetery, rural Michigan, ND, at a later date.
