Gregory A. Vaught

Gregory A. Vaught, 59, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

Greg was born April 8, 1948 in Jamestown, ND, the son of Milton and Ruby (Gilderhus) Vaught. He received his education in Jamestown and was active in various sports and Boy Scouts. Greg graduated from Jamestown High School. He attended Wahpeton State School of Science where he was a Golden Glove boxer. He graduated from the University of Denver. He also attended the University of Utah at Provo. Since 1979, Greg worked in the Seattle, Washington area, returning to Jamestown in 2004.

Greg enjoyed woodcarving. He was a member of the Jamestown Elks.

Greg is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Emaline & Darrell Roorda, Ypsilanti; three nieces, Lorianne (Jim) Michaud, Coon Rapids, MN, Lynette (Dell) Johnson, Delta, CO and Amy (Mark) Albrecht, Grand Forks, ND and one nephew, Anthony (Amy) Roorda, Ypsilanti.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Monday, May 28, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Ypsilanti Cemetery, Ypsilanti, North Dakota.
