Gretchen Snell, 23, Bismarck, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown died Thursday, October 30, 2003 in her home. Gretchen was born February 5, 1980 in Jamestown the daughter of John and Joellen (Dent) Snell. She attended Jamestown High School for a short time and later moved to Fargo, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1998. Gretchen moved to Bismarck and attended Bismarck State College (BSC) receiving her associate degrees in applied science and arts. While attending BSC and receiving her degrees she worked in a daycare in Bismarck and was employed by St. Alexis Medical Center in the Rehab unit.
She enjoyed scrapbooking, swimming, reading, aerobics and children.
Gretchen is survived by her fiance', Joel Williams, Bismarck, ND, a very special little girl, step-daughter, Bianca Williams, Jamestown, ND, mother, Joellen Pahl of Fargo, ND, father, John Snell of Jamestown, one brother, Neil (Ella) Wells, Fargo, ND, two sisters, Penny (Rick) Jacobson, Fargo, ND and Amanda (Matthew) Warrenburg, Herman, MN, eight nephews, six nieces and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Aletha Maxine and Wilbur Dent and paternal grandparents, Albert W. and Beulah Snell.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
