Guy A. Simmons, 63, of Fergus Falls, MN, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his home in Fergus Falls, MN.

Guy Anthony Simmons was born January 30, 1948, at Trinity Hospital, Jamestown, the son of Robert and Mary (Wagner) Simmons. He was baptized and confirmed at St. James Catholic Church, Jamestown. Guy attended St. John's Academy and Jamestown High School. He was employed in dry cleaning for several years. Guy married Debra Beck on September 6, 1986, in Peoria, IL. He was a self-employed computer expert and was owner of Buffalo City Internet and Computer, Jamestown and Valley City Internet, Valley City, ND.

Guy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and quarter-mile drag racing.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, Fergus Falls, MN; two daughters, Sonia Schaffer, Apple Valley, MN and Nicole Simmons, Uganda, Africa; three step-children, Rebecca Morse, Jennifer Senger, and Kenneth Thornell, all of Forest Lake, MN; two grandchildren, Matthew Simmons and Gabrielle Schaffer, Apple Valley, MN; his mother, Mary Steele, Jamestown; brother, Chris (Dory) Simmons, Olympia, WA; a nephew and a niece, Benjamin "Bucky" and Zhoey Simmons, both of Olympia, WA; mother-in-law, Mary Beck; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Simmons; step-father, Delbert Steele; grandparents; and father-in-law, Robert Beck.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: None scheduled, Arrangements by Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
