Hannah O. Kluksdal

Hannah O.Kluksdal, 88, Jamestown, N.D. died Saturday, November 16, 2002 at her home in Jamestown, N.D.

Hannah Olivia Dronen was born February 24, 1914 on the family farm north of Driscoll, N.D., the daughter of Nils and Lovise (Hanson) Dronen. She grew up and attended school at Driscoll, graduating from Driscoll High School in 1933.

Hannah married Marvin Kluksdal on September 25, 1936 at Driscoll, N.D. They farmed north of Driscoll until 1964 when they moved to Jamestown, N.D. She was employed at the North Dakota State Hospital from 1964 until she retired in 1984. Marvin died January 10, 1986. She continued to make her home in Jamestown where she was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and did many hours of volunteer work in the Jamestown area. She was a active member of the Sons of Norway in Jamestown, N.D. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and her flower gardens.

She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Driscoll, where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher.

Hannah is survived by four sons, Dayton (Silvia) Kluksdal, of Akeley, MN; Gary (Susan) Kluksdal, of Boise, ID; Harley Kluksdal, of Denver, CO; Dallas (Gale) Kluksdal, of Marshall, MN; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret (Erling) Botnen, of Bismarck, N.D.; Mary (John) Malsam, of Sterling, N.D.; and one brother Albert (Verna) Dronen, of Driscoll, N.D. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Andrew and George.

Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. - Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at St. John's Lutheran Church - Jamestown, N.D., with Rev. Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at Eddy Funeral Home 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home.

Driscoll Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 21, 2002 at Grace Lutheran Church Driscoll, N.D., with Rev. Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Burial: Grace Lutheran Cemetery - Driscoll, N.D.
