Harold Oettle, 77, of Jamestown North Dakota died on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Harold Charles Oettle was born in Valley City, ND on January 28, 1942, the son of Charles and Helen (Stromme) Oettle. He enlisted in the Navy after graduating from Cooperstown High School in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1966. Harold married the love of his life, Ardis Aileen Aljoe on June 18, 1971. He was a welder and machinist at Reitening Inc. for 40 years before retiring at age 62 due to health reasons. Harold loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren.

Harold is survived by his wife; Ardis, son; Jay (Amie) of Jamestown, ND, three grandchildren; Breanna, Ethan, and Aden, and one sister; Ruby Knudson of Seattle, WA.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 10:00AM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
