Harriet Wahl

Harriet Phyllis Wahl, 92, Jamestown, ND passed away on September 22, 2018 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Harriet was born on July 6, 1926 in Jamestown, ND. She was the daughter of Philip and Louise (Johnson) Schuff. She attended school in Jamestown. She married Vern Wahl on January 11, 1945 and they shared 61 years of marriage. They lived on a farm near Eldridge, ND from 1946 until 1955 when they moved to Jamestown. Harriet worked at Roosevelt Grade School as a lunch monitor, S&L retail store and at Stutsman County Treasurer’s Office during tax season.

Harriet was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards.

Harriet is survived by her sons Wayne (Judy) Wahl, Fargo, ND; Gene (Becky) Wahl, Rosemount, MN and Brad (Wendy) Wahl, Bismarck, ND; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vern and brothers Orville and Donald.

Visitation: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 26 at Good Shepherd Chapel, Ave Maria Village Nursing Home with Deacon Ken Votava officiating.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
