Harry L. Triepke, 91, of Edgeley, ND, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Harry L. Triepke was born December 19, 1919, the son of Paul and Fredericka (Pfaff) Triepke. Harry grew up and farmed with his dad in Bluebird township, south of Jud, ND. On October 21, 1942, he married Esther Kalmbach and they farmed until 1963. Harry farmed many years with his draft horses, Trixie and Dixie. They gardened for many years and sold produce at the Farmers' Market in Jamestown. In 1994, they bought a home and moved to Edgeley. Esther died on September 24, 2007. Harry moved to St. Joseph Manor, Edgeley in September 2009.

Harry served on the Bluebird township board for 20 years and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley and the Jud Lions club.

Harry enjoyed gardening and playing cards.

Harry is survived by his three sons, Jerome (Sue), Fargo, ND, Rod (Peg), Nortonville, ND, and Cal (Bonnie), Edgeley, ND; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one sister, Lucile Hettick, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter-in-law, Carol; four sisters, Bertha, Esther, Evelyn, and Florence; and two brothers, Edward and Walter.

Funeral Service: 10:30am, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley.

Visitation: 5:00pm-7:00pn, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley.

Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.
