Harvey Janke

Harvey Duane Janke, 70, Jamestown, ND passed away on November 10, 2024 at his home.

He was born November 12, 1953, to Arthur and Eleanor Janke.  Harvey grew up with four sisters, Carol (Bruce) Judd, Joyce Schultes, Julie (Robert) Sprague and Wanda Abualzalaf.

Harvey and Cindy (Neustel) were married on June 4, 1977.  They had a great life in Jamestown raising three children, Benjamin (Lisa), Willard, UT, Mitchell (Julie Henderson), West Haven, UT and Megan (Dana) Sandness, Grand Forks, ND.

Harvey’s favorite times were spent with family.  The most treasured memories were cross country motorcycle trips with Cindy, spending time with his boys in Utah and weekends in Grand Forks.  He also loved coffee time with friends.

He is survived by his wife and children; granddaughters, Portcia (Vaden) Dunn, Ogden, UT, Olive and Penelope Sandness, and great grandsons, Lance and Lochland Dunn; his mother-in-

law and step father-in-law, Joy and Tony Cumber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and his sister-in-law.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Jennifer McDonald officiating.
