Henrietta Brown, 91, Mandan, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, November 14, 2005 at MedCenter One Care Center in Mandan.
Henrietta Koppelman was born May 10, 1914 in Great Bend, North Dakota the daughter of Henry and Amelia (Neitzel) Koppelman. She graduated from Wahpeton High School, Wahpeton, ND in 1932 and from the St. Frances School of Nursing in Breckenridge, MN, in 1936. She married Harvey Brown in October 1938. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN, hospitals in Yuma and Wray, CO, at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND and for many years at the DePuy-Sorkness Clinic in Jamestown. She retired from nursing in 1979.
Henrietta was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown and the Junior Samaritan Circle.
She is survived by two sons; Malcolm (Carol) Brown, Mandan, ND and Clayton Brown, Nevis, MN; two grandchildren, Chris (Jodi) Brown, Mandan, ND and Stephanie (Bret) Lathrop, and great-grandson, Cole of Ripley, England.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, and a daughter-in-law, Kay Brown.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 17, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Dennis Ellingsen officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
