Herbert K Johnson, Jr.

Herb Johnson, 70, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at his home.

Herbert K. Johnson, Jr. was born January 14, 1949, in Denver, CO, the son of Herbert K. and Evelyn Lela (Anderson) Johnson. His father was in the US Air Force, which took the family to various bases including Japan, Germany, and stateside. Herb resided in Spiritwood, ND and Webster, SD in the 1980’s to 1994. He then became a long-time resident of Jamestown where he was an active member of the Wild West Shoot-Out at the Frontier Village. Herb loved reading about past wars, enjoyed westerns and having breakfast with his neighbors at the Gardenette.

Herb is survived by his sister, Sharon Pesall; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service: Will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Sanborn, ND.
