Howard Brown

Howard Brown died August 13, 2019 at Eventide High Acres Jamestown, ND under the care of JRMC Hospice.

Howard was born to Frank and Leona (Kramer) Brown on December 31, 1926. He was baptized on January 13, 1927.

He received his schooling in Edmunds and Pingree schools.

He worked construction in West Fargo and Jamestown. In 1970 he returned to Pingree to live with his parents upon his father’s retirement. His father passed away in 1980. Howard continued working and living with his mother until he retired. Then he became his mother’s care giver. They moved to Jamestown in 2000. She entered High Acres Manor Nursing Home in 2003 and passed away in December, 2010.

Howard enjoyed gardening, reading, and touring the countryside. He attended the Pingree Congregational church. He entered High Acres Manor in September, 2010.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law, Eugene Tompkins, and many uncles, aunts, and special cousin, Darrel Van Erem. He is survived by his sister, Tressa Tompkins, nieces; Gaylene Bader and Nancy Waalen, nephew, Rory (Laura) Tompkins, grandnieces; Shyla (Jerad Craik) Strandlien, Amanda (Cory) Moreno and grandnephew, Eric Bader. Also, his great grandniece, Cailyn Craik and great grandnephews; Braydon Bader and Brenden Craik, and step-great grandnephew, Landon Otteson

Cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.

Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home.
