Hulda Meidinger, 97, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.
Hulda Zimmerman was born May 20, 1910 at Venturia, ND, the daughter of Christ and Wilhelmina (Kusler) Zimmerman. She was raised at Venturia and attended the rural McIntosh County school. On March 29, 1931, she married Edward Meidinger at the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Venturia where they settled and where Edward farmed and worked as a blacksmith. In 1950, they moved to Jamestown, ND where Edward worked for the Park and Recreation Department and the Jamestown Country Club. He died in 1984. In 1986, Hulda moved to the Gardenette Apartments; in 1988, she moved to Rock of Ages and in the 1990's entered Hi-Acres Manor.
Hulda was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary (Wayne) Larson, Wichita, KS; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and many great-great- grandchildren. .
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sons: Elton of Miles City, MT and Raymond on Bismarck; a brother and a sister.
Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.
Visitation: noon p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown and 1 hour prior to services.
Interment - Venturia Cemetery, Venturia, ND
