Ida Roesler

Ida Roesler, 93, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital.

Ida Wahl was born January 2, 1913 at Goodrich, North Dakota the daughter of Christ and Magdolina (Goll) Wahl. She received her education in the Goodrich rural school. In 1936 she came to Jamestown. On July 15, 1943 Ida married Jacob Roesler. She was employed at Eddy Furniture store as a drapery seamstress from 1957 until she retired in 1972. She worked as a housekeeper for various people for many years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Ida is survived by four brothers, Edmund (Pearl) Wahl, Bismarck, ND, Wilmer (Harriet) Wahl, Jamestown, Donald (Leona) Wahl, Bismarck, ND and Ervin (Pat) Wahl, Turtle Lake, ND; one sister, DeLayne (Merwyn) Krein, Goodrich, ND; two step-daughters, Cecelia Wallum and Josephine Wells, both in Vancouver, WA; and one sister-in-law, Ella Wahl, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Service: 10:00AM, Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM to 8:00PM, Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
