Ilene Wolff

Ilene Charlotte (Barnick) Wolff, 86, of Jud, died on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Eventide.

Ilene was born December 15, 1929 in Nortonville, ND, the daughter of William and Orianna (Miracle) Barnick. She was the youngest of eight children. She married Robert Wolff on April 15, 1950. They had five children: Gary, Debbi, Brenda, Bill, and Robin. They lived in North Dakota, New York, Montana, and Washington and thanks to Bob’s work, it took them on many great adventures in these states. Ilene worked as a telephone operator in Jamestown and then as a secretary until her retirement. She and Bob came back to ND to retire. Bob passed away on March 3, 1997.

Ilene is survived by her children, Brenda (Bill) Myers, Thousand Oaks, CA, Bill (Becky) Wolff, Centralia, WA, Robin, Jud, ND; son-in-law, Eldon Graves, Ethel, WA; sister; Ethel Hanson, Devils Lake, ND; sisters-in-law; Shirley Sahr and Alice Wolff, Jamestown, ND; grandchildren; Traci (Randy) Hall, WA, Brandie (Steve) Muller, CA, Nicole and Mackenzie Myers, CA, Tanya Truluck, WA; and 8 great grandchildren, Dawson, Logan, and Addison Hall, Hunter and Hannah Tornow, Eliana and McKenna Muller, and Parker Grace Corning.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob”; daughter, Debbi Graves; son, Gary Wolff; and grandson, Travis Tornow.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, Nortonville, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating, with a lunch to immediately follow.

Interment: Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, at a later date.
