Irene Casados, 63, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Irene Aguirre was born March 12, 1945 in Miles City, Montana, the daughter of Benedict and Clorinda (Espinoza) Aguirre. The family moved to Gardener, Colorado, where Irene grew up and attended school in Walsenburg, CO. She married Sam Casados in 1963. She worked as a housekeeper in Garden City, Kansas. In 2004, Irene moved to Jamestown. She enjoyed playing games on the computer.

Irene is survived by a son, Steve Aguirre, Garden City, KS; daughter, Donna Johnson, Jamestown; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Eugene Aguirre, Darlene Hunter, Emma Fergus, Everett DeVan, Pat Pacheco, Anthony DeVan, Joseph DeVan, Cindy DeVan, Donald DeVan, and Veronica DeVan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty Jean; and one son, Timothy.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
