Irene Wacker

Irene Wacker, Pettibone, ND passed away May 9, 2017 in Jamestown, ND. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Carry Wacker, brother John and sister Alma Lemberg. Survived by nephew Stanley (Luanne) Lemberg and their children Leslie, Alison, Leanne, and Joel (Cheri). Also survived by her niece Marlene Norris (Roger) of Wilton, ND. Irene was a wonderful cook and baker and her apricot rolls and canned peaches were enjoyed by her family. Her 9 great-great nieces all enjoyed a visit to her home where she had a tendency to dote on them. Irene was a faithful rider on the bus that traveled to Bismarck every Tuesday and to Jamestown once a month. She was independent and could not be coaxed out of North Dakota and the home that she loved. The family is thankful for the excellent care and attention Irene received at Rock of Ages, Eventide, and from the JRMC Hospice nurses. The family will hold a celebration of Irene's life in Ramsey, MN. Burial will be at the Pettibone Cemetery. Online guest book: www.eddyfuneralhome.com
