Jackie Truax

Jacqueline (Jackie) Lee Truax, 88, of Jamestown, ND, passed away on Saturday March 9, 2024. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Jackie was born on October 15, 1935 to Leon and Opal (Maag) Babcock in Jamestown, ND. She attended Jamestown Public School and graduated in 1953. She married Glenn Truax on June 2, 1957. Jackie was a Secretary at MacKenzie and Jungroth Law Firm, the Buffalo Mall and the ND State Hospital. Jackie enjoyed quilting, needle pointing and crafts.
She is survived by her children Connie (Bob) Kleese, Brookings, OR; Barbara Richards; Steve (Leslie) Truax, Oakland, TN; siblings Darlene Kelley, Bismarck, ND; Ethan Babcock, Jamestown, ND; grandchildren Michael Aldrich, Church Watkins, Joshua Richards, Ben Kleese, Andrew Kleese, Samantha Barker, Kristi Barker, Amelia Truax.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Truax; daughter Karen Barker; parents Leon and Opal Babcock; sister Donna Williamson.
A funeral service will be held at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.  Interment will take place later in the spring.
