Jacqueline Jean (Merkel) Morlock

Jacqueline Jean (Merkel) Morlock, 72, died on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Sanford in Bismarck.

Jacqueline was born on June 24, 1948, the daughter of William and Bessie (Del) Merkel in Bismarck, North Dakota. She attended elementary and high school in Wing, ND and graduated on May 26, 1966.

On June 23, 1967 she married Wesley Morlock. They lived in Bismarck, Steele, and then finally moved to Jamestown. Jackie was employed with Western Gear, Kmart, and Salvation Army, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed working with plants, visiting with friends and family, her favorite tv shows were Wheel of Fortune, Days of Our Lives, Young and the Restless, law and Order, and Criminal Minds.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Wesley, two children; Troy Morlock and Nicole Morlock, three grandchildren; Thomas Morlock, Austin Morlock, and Erica Morlock, five sisters; Mary Button, Darlene Froehlich, Judy (Arvine) Hitland, Kathy Kidd, and Debbie (Woody) Klouse, two brothers; Dennis Merkel and Doug Merkel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Marolyn and Doris.
