James A. Carlson

James A. Carlson, 14 months, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Jamestown Hospital.

James ""Jac"" Carlson was born August 9, 2008 in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Derek and Samantha (Kust) Carlson. He was a great joy to his parents and extended family and will be greatly missed.

Jac enjoyed playing peek-a-boo, playing patty-cake, hugs, riding in his car, playing with cats, trucks and his friends at daycare.

James is survived by his parents, Samantha and Derek Carlson, Jamestown; maternal grandparents, Richard and Linda Kust, Jamestown; maternal grandmother, Tammie Schneiderman, Encino, CA; maternal grandfather, Ward Kemaldean, Minot, ND; paternal grandparents, Stella & Shawn Carlson, Tracy, MT; maternal great-grandmothers, Viola Vigen and Magdalena Kust, both of Jamestown; paternal great-grandparents, Earnest & Sharon Evenhus, Great Falls, MT; Ida & Frank Fraser, Colorado Springs, CO; Jack & Verna Barker, Centerville, SD and Ron & Ila Carlson, Michigan, ND; godfather and uncle, Preston Carlson, US Navy; and uncle, Sammie Kemaldean, Minot, ND.

He was preceded in death by four great-grandfathers.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Ruth Kaden officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
