James R. Holloway

James R. "Jim" Holloway, 77, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his home.

Jim was born March 10, 1936 in Bismarck, ND, the son of Ralph and Marion (Reynolds) Holloway. Jim attended school and graduated from Flasher High School, Flasher, ND. On May 20, 1969 he married Cheryl Wells in Valley City, ND. He was a security guard for 29 years at the North Dakota State Hospital, retiring in 1998.

Jim enjoyed yard work, woodworking, puzzles, watching television, especially, "The Price is Right", "Matlock" and "Law & Order."

Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl, Jamestown; one son, Ricky Holloway, California; one daughter, Lois Holloway, Adams, OR; sister, Peggy Newmann, Bismarck, ND; sister-in-law, Lois Holloway, Lewiston, ID; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one nephew.
