James Senger

James M. Senger 62, passed away unexpectedly January 31, 2017 at his home in Bismarck, ND.

Jim was born on June 29, 1954 in Ellendale, ND and was the son of Paul and Frances Senger, Edgeley, ND. He attended school in Edgeley and graduated in 1972. He married Paulette Schmidt February 14, 1986. Most of his career was with Western Area Power in Bismarck where he worked for 25 years. He became ill in 2012 and at that point he had to retire.

Jim had a love for cars, he loved going to car shows and collection car memorabilia and putting models together. He had a collection that everyone admired. He also loved a good pinochle game.

He is survived by his stepdaughter Jenny (Craig) Gierke; grandsons Kadon, Jaxon and Jordan, Bismarck ND; sisters, Patty (Dean) Johnson, Mesa AZ, Karen (Tony) Geiger, Fargo, ND, Jean Senger, Edgeley, ND, Shari (Eric) Burke, Fort Dodge, IA; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Frances Senger; grandparents, John and Frances Senger, Linton ND and Mike and Lena Hilzendeger, Aberdeen SD.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.

Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
