Janice Jane Heasley

Janice Jane Heasley, 68, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday evening, October 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer since December 2019.

Janice Scheuffele was born December 31, 1953, in Jamestown, the daughter of Leonard and Mildred (Ebel) Scheuffele.  She was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1973.  Janice worked at the Ranch House Motel in Jamestown.  She was united in marriage to Paul Heasley, Jr. on June 16, 1983 in Aberdeen, SD.  They made their home in Jamestown where she was a homemaker and raised her three boys.  Janice liked to read and taking care of her family.  She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed collecting his memorabilia.

Janice is survived by her husband, Paul Heasley, Jr.; sons, Ryan Heasley, Robert (Kayla Moore) Heasley, and Kevin Heasley; two brothers, Randy Scheuffele and Loren (Chris Floyd) Scheuffele; aunt, Vivian Gilman; and uncle, Harry Scheuffele.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Duane Scheuffele.

Janice requested a brief, family service to be announced at a later date.
