Janice Wescom

Janice Wescom, 58, longtime resident of Jamestown, North Dakota, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, after battling a long illness.

Janice Kay Wescom was born July 18, 1949 in the city of Jamestown, to parents Richard and Dolores (Lutz) Wescom. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1967 and later from the Wahpeton School of Nursing.

Janice was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Her charming personality and amazing wit will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Janice is survived by two children, Faith (Tom) DuBois, Eagan, MN and Brent (Crystal) Otterson, Jamestown; three grandchildren; father, Richard Wescom, Jamestown; one sister Barb (Terry) Bright, Eden Prairie, MN; two nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and one brother, Jerome.

All memorials will be donated to the MeritCare Eating Disorder Institute of Fargo in Janice's memory at MeritCare Foundation, PO Box MC, Fargo, ND 58122-0302.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown with Pastor Randy Jaspers officiating.

Visitation: 12:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.

Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, North Dakota.
