Jeanette Franklund, 62, of Jamestown, ND died Friday, March 12, 2004 in Jamestown.

Jeanette Carlson was born May 21, 1941 in Bottineau, ND the daughter of Clifford and Jennie (Norberg) Carlson. She was raised in Washburn, ND and graduated from Washburn High School in 1959. Jeanette married Ray E. Franklund on July 16, 1960 at the First Lutheran Church in Washburn. While her husband managed various elevators, Jeanette was the bookkeeper. They lived in Falkirk, Makoti, and Rolla, ND, then in Plummer, MN. They later moved to Lisbon, ND where she was an accountant for Ransom County Implement. In 1995, they moved to Jamestown where she was an accountant for Central Sales, White Drug, and Vining Oil before retiring in May 2003. She was also a very talented seamstress.

Jeanette was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ray E. Franklund of Jamestown; son, Clifton (Carrie) Franklund of Fountain Valley, CA; daughter, LaRae (Joel) Nelson of Breckenridge, MN; son, Duane (Kathy) Franklund of Jamestown, ND; six grandchildren, Jennifer Franklund, Emily Franklund, LaRissa Nelson, Christopher Nelson, Sean Deneen, and Stephanie Franklund; and one brother, Clayton (Martha) Carlson of Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Visitation: 9:00AM to 9:00PM Monday, March 15, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Monday, March 15, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
