Jeannie Marie Gray

Jeannie M. Gray, 42, Mandan, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, died Thursday, May 26, 2004 in Danville, New Jersey, unexpectedly.

Jeannie Mielke was born September 22, 1961 in Jamestown, North Dakota the daughter of Edward E. and Jean S. (Woods) Mielke. She grew up in Jamestown and attended Jamestown High School. Jeannie married Michael Cox on October 6, 1979 in Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where she worked at the Anne Carlsen School for Children until 1985. Then she worked for Pro-Am in Jamestown. She moved to Fargo where she met and married Terry Gray on May 1, 1998. In April 2002 they moved to Mandan and in July 2003 she began trucking with her husband for Midwest Coast Transport.

Jeannie's interests included trucking, collecting bells and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; one son, Cassidy Cox of Mandan; her mother, Jean Mielke, Jamestown; maternal grandmother, Esther Maine, Jamestown; two sisters, Shirley (Richard) Ahner, Jamestown and Barb (Eugene) Mittleider, Jamestown; three brothers, Harlan (June) Mielke, Minot, ND, Jerome (Edie) Mielke, Coon Rapids, MN and Dale Mielke of Jamestown and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jeannie was preceded in death by a son, Ryan and her father, Edward.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Leiste officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Monday, May 31, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Monday, May 31, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
