Jefferey Glodrey, 64, of Streeter, ND, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 30, 2018 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Jefferey Vernon Glodrey was born May 9, 1954 to Ray and Donna Glodrey at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown ND. He was then the younger baby brother to Ron Glodrey.
Jeff had many reasons to celebrate his life today! Jeff grew up in Jamestown, ND attending and graduating from Jamestown High School in 1972. His father managed Red Owl and his mother owned Raydons Variety and Craft Store. Jeff was often a help in the day to day business matters. Jeff loved to fish, draw, sing, play guitar and also taught guitar lessons. His love of music led him to play guitar in the band Tacotta. He met his wife Sharri and had a daughter Kali on 5/25/85. Jeff managed Zales Jewelry in Jamestown and was promoted to the Rapid City, SD location. Jeff was also the finance manager of Gold Key Cadillac GMC. Jeff then met Penny who has been there for him through thick and thin for 26 years she had brought her daughter Darci into their life and moved to Streeter, ND where they took over his mother’s bar business. Jeff had many many good years, lots of friends, and jokes in that bar of his. Jeff’s two girls brought him plenty of grandchildren. Vega Widmer, Madison Dockter, Evan Redmann, and Molly Redmann. Jeff’s personality was always one that could carry on a conversation or shoot the wind. Jeff was also stubborn and never wrong! We can laugh about this now because he can’t tell us any different! In Jeff’s later years of life, his juvenile diabetes took over and the battle was lost but even in those hard times Jeff was always a jokester even with his nurses. He’s a tough guy and family always said he’s a not a cat with 9 lives but 16. Jeff loved his pets dearly as family members also. He just recently lost his pup Sadie. He wanted to see the ocean someday and we believe that is where he may be and is also watching over the ones who miss him dearly.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Glodrey; brother, Ron Glodrey; and father, Ray Glodrey.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
