Jeffery Carter

Jeffery W. Carter, 62 of Jamestown, ND died on Saturday April 6, 2019 at his home. Jeffery was born on November 15, 1956 the son of James and Dorothy (Kunze) Carter. He served in the National Guard from 1977-1984. He married Melody Mittleider in June 1980, and they had three sons: Jeffery, Cory, and William. When he got out of the service he held different jobs in the Jamestown area.

Jeff loved his collection of Elvis memorabilia, and old movies. He would never miss Wheel of Fortune, and was quite the homebody. He enjoyed fishing, driving around town, and until she passed his husky Kaiya.

He is survived by his sons Jeffery (Terese) Carter with grandson Jason, Cory (Andrea) Carter, William Carter. Sisters: Judy Carter, Joyce (Bill) Carter, Jeannie (Ray) Hillius, and Janice (Brian) Carter. Brothers: Jim, Jay, and Jared (Jen) Carter. Survived also by many nieces and nephews.

His parents James and Dorothy, and brother Jerry precede him in death.

Prayer Service: 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Pastor Susan Haukaas officiating.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating.
