Jennie L. Maine

Jennie L. Maine, 69, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Jamestown Hospital. Jennie Lee Ashbaugh was born June 24, 1935 in Jamestown, North Dakota to George and Edith (Peterson) Ashbaugh. She grew up and received her education in Jamestown. Jennie married Alfred William Maine, Jr. on March 3, 1953 in Jamestown. She lived in Jamestown and worked at home until opening her own business, Trio Wig Fashions. After building a successful business, she sold her share to her partner and pursued other interests. Jennie enjoyed singing, sewing and doll making.

She is survived by: one daughter, Laurinda (David) Flaks, Colorado Springs, CO; four sons, Rick and Randy, both of Portland, OR, Rod and Russell (Julie), both of Cogswell, ND; two grandchildren, Alyson and Adam Maine; one brother, Charles Ashbaugh, Tacoma, WA; two sisters, Ann Johnson and Opal (Carroll) Schmuhl, both of Jamestown; a very special life long friend, Dorothy Ness. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, North Dakota.
