Jerry L Scholz

Jerry L. Scholz, 70, of Jamestown, ND, passed away late Tuesday night, October 2, 2018 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown, surrounded by his family.

Jerry Lee Scholz was born November 29, 1947, in Jamestown, the son of Ernest and Ruth (Imer) Scholz. He attended Jamestown High School and graduated from Courtenay High School. Jerry was a member of bands, including Tacotta. He began working for Skeel’s Painting and Decorating at a young age and eventually became owner/operator. Jerry enjoyed hunting and ice fishing, and loved having coffee with his “buds” and visiting with friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Pat Scholz; daughters, Sheree (Darren) Morlock, Jeffa (Chase) Cooper, and Jenna (Scott) Kirchmeier; eight grandchildren, Jaurice Cooper, Serena Morlock, Dawson Morlock, Bryce Cooper, Kole Kirchmeier, Sophie Cooper, Jace Kirchmeier, and Ava Kirchmeier; sister, Maureen Walch; step-mother, Anita Scholz; step-siblings; half-sister, Amy Neustel; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 10:30 am, Monday, October 8, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Elmo Herman officiating.

Inurnment : Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fried, ND.
