Jim DeVillers, 68, of Kensal, ND, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Jamestown, ND.

Jim was born May 12, 1949, in Jamestown, the son if Kenneth and Harriett (Nogosek) DeVillers. He graduated from Kensal High School in 1967 and attended Jamestown College. Jim worked for Solien’s Men’s Clothing Store and MDU in Jamestown before farming for 14 years. Later, he was a rural mail carrier in the Kensal and Glenfield, ND areas and drove school bus for Kensal Public School. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and camping, and tinkering in the shop. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.

Jim is survived by his wife, Linda DeVillers, Kensal; daughters, Kristin DeVillers, Jamestown, Dawn (Terry) DeVillers, Jamestown, and Erin (Dan) Tracy, Augusta, MT; three grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, and MacKenzie; two great-grandchildren, Easton and Blayklee; mother, Harriett DeVillers, Kensal; sister, Diane (Joe) Urso, Chicago, IL; brother, Joel (Kathy) DeVillers, Carrington, ND; brother, Gregg (Janet) DeVillers, Grand Forks, ND; sister, Mary Beth (David) Thill, Chicago, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal and maternal grandparents

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Kensal, ND.

Inurnment: St. John’s Cemetery, Kensal, ND.
