Jimmy F. Martin

Jimmy F. Martin, 75, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital.

Jimmy was born November 17, 1932 in Cathay, ND, the son of John and Laura (Seibold) Martin. He served in the service for two years. Jimmy married Rose Barclay in 1981 at Concordia Lutheran Church. He worked for area contractors and for sixteen years for Lindberg Brothers. He was also a janitor at the Elks Club.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Rose, Jamestown; two stepdaughters, Beverly (Bruce) Burkett, Bismarck, ND and Linda (Joe) Goehner, Jamestown; four sisters, Linda (Lawrence) Anderson, New Rockford, ND, Beverly (Terry) Hafner, Cathay, ND, Helen (Steve) Wolf, Bismarck, ND and Ardelle Ockert, New Rockford, ND; and four brothers, Fred, Merlin and Bill, all of North Dakota and Orville Martin, Pensacola, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Wesley, Leonard, infant Gilbert and Chester; and two sisters, Shirley and Janice.

Memorial Service: 1:30 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Thomas Eckstein officiating.
